my prescription is base curve: 8.7 and my diameter is 14.4

I’m sorry for asking this twice – but no one really answered my question on my last board thing.

I’m going nude swimming tomorrow in a chlorine-pool at my friend’s house.
I’m taking off my lenses, putting them in solution, then going swimming.
After I’ve swam, can I I ammediately put in the contact lenses? Or will that not be safe?

I am filipino, with tan/olive skin, dark brown eyes, and dark brown hair.

I am getting colored contacts (they’re prescribed) & i have no idea what color to get /: i tried on a lot of colors at the eye doctor and i took home 2 samples, true sapphire (blue) and amethyst (purplish color). i put on the blue and i liked it! and so did my cousins. but everyone here seems to prefer natural colors like green, hazel, gray..i tried on the green and idk it didn’t suit me or maybe i just didn’t get a good look with it on. hazel made me look..ehhh? /: i liked gray but then again idk. with amethyst, i like it i guess. i doesn’t really show but it gives my eyes a gray look which is good i guess(: i really need help i wanna go back to the doctors office and try on colors again but i already did that TWICE. what color do you think looks best on me from what i described about myself? please help? thaanks in advanced(:

Hello,

I’d like to get colored contacts for cosmetic purposes (no prescription), but I’ve never worn contacts before. The eye doctor I consulted said I’d have to wear clear contacts for a *full year* before I could get colored ones. Is this typical? From what I’ve read online, some people can start right off with colored. It seems silly to wear clear plano contacts for a year.

Also, I understand contacts have to be “fit” to your eyes. The color I want (dark brown) is hard to find, though, so I’d planned to order them online from the only place I can find them. It doesn’t look like they offer “sizes;” just prescription strengths. How can I be sure the ones online are safe and will fit me? Is the only choice to order them, then take them to the doc to make sure they’ll fit?

I am not self conscious about my eyes, I actually love my eyes, it is just that I wear contacts and was thinking about getting colored contacts. I wanted to because I feel kinda dull and I wanted to change up my look before going back to school. Over the past couple weeks my eyes have been turning red and bloodshot and I am blinking very often. I have switched to new contact lenses and the problem persists.

What possible infection could I have and any OTC remedies could I buy?
I’ve worn contacts for nearly two years and have never had this problem.

I’m also wearing them in the correct manner.

I also tried using some Visine Contact solution but that made my eyes burn like hell.
