Pros and Cons of Wearing Colored Contact Lenses?

I have bad eyesight, and I do NOT want to wear glasses.
Does wearing colored contact lenses that fully changes the color of your eyes, stress your eyes in any way? Or cause any problems?
Does anyone suggest a specific brand of contact lenses?

They are really not much different from regular contacts. Both are safe to wear, as long as you take proper care of them (cleaning and storing correctly, changing to a new pair as directed, etc). The only thing with colored contacts is that you may notice a ring when your pupils dilate in certain lighting conditions. This did happen to me, but I got used to it after a week or so of wearing the colored contacts, and now I don’t notice rings or anything like that.

Your doctor will be able to recommend what colored contacts will work best for you. He/she needs to measure your pupil to get the right size of contacts for you. Not all brands of colored contacts come in different sizes, so knowing your size will help him/her determine what colored contacts you can and cannot wear. I have to wear the Freshlook ones, because my pupils are too large for the Acuvue colored contacts, and many other brands. Hopefully your pupils will be smaller, so you will have more flexibility in different brands of colored contacts! I’m pretty much restricted to Freshlooks, or the expensive Durasoft colored contacts.
