Wearing contact lenses when you have perfect vision will not harm your eyes, that is a myth, it would only hurt your eyes if you were wearing prescription lenses. Lots of people wear coloured contacts just for fun. I wear coloured lenses, but I do have a prescription as I need it. But it is of paramount importance that you buy them from from an optometrist, as you do need to have your eyes tested, and they need to check that lenses will fit the shape of your eyes etc. Then they can show you different types of lenses that are available and you can try samples on to see what colour you like, as there are like so many available. You do need to be very diligent with hygeine with your lenses, I cannot stress that enough. I am very careful and even I got a really nasty infection in my eye, I had an absyss and it was the most excruciating pain I have ever felt, I kid you not. You can lose your eye because of it. Totally scary. But it is ok, you just need to VERY careful, wash your hands in anti-bacterial soap before touching them, don’t wear them swimming or sleep in them etc. I didn’t let that experience scare me off, that was like 5 yrs ago and since all has been great. I just love my lenses, they are beautiful and so much fun. Don’t let people sway you with their patronizing attitude by saying you should just be happy with what you have, BORING. Life is too short not to get out there and try new things, have fun! Just remember to look after them well, give your eyes a rest, be sure to get them from a licensed optician and you won’t look back. Enjoy

No, I don’t think its possible to get contacts that have no perscription in them. Plus it would be a pain to put them in. Trust me, I wear contacts and they’re a pain to put in!
