I had an eye exam at 3:00 today where they put a dilating drop in my right eye. Now it’s still huge as ever 5 hours later! I feel like a goofball walking around with one huge pupil and the other one normal, plus it’s uncomfortable. I heard it may depend on eye color, but I thought it was a myth… I have blue eyes if this is indeed true. Any thoughts? It’s making me a bit paranoid. Thanks.

I have blue eyes and I wish I had brown eyes basically. So I have been looking into colored contacts, and since most all people who wear colored contacts actually have brown eyes, I was wondering if they look less natural on a blue eyed person because maybe blue eyes are harder to hide than brown eyes.

I have light brown eyes and I used wear saphire blue contact lenses. I’m very pale with dark brown hair and I always had complI aments on my blue eyes when I wore them. I haven’t worn them in years but it is tI ame for an eye exam soon and I thought I’d get a pair to wear now and then. What do you think?

Besides looking at what race they are(Asian,black,etc), is it possible to tell if someone is wearing colored contacts?

For example if a black person were to wear blue contacts it would probably be obvious because black people usually don’t get blue eyes. However, if an Asian person wore hazel contacts could you tell without asking them if their eye color is really hazel or if they’re just contacts.

So I’m pretty much sick and tired of my dark dark brown eyes.

I naturally have hazel eyes, sort of a light brown and muted green color, but most people take one quick glance at them and assume that they’re brown. It’s not that I think brown eyes are unattractive, but it irritates me that people treat my eyes as if they’re boring. I would really prefer to have blue eyes, and I’m considering colored contact lenses. I’ve always wanted blue eyes because I’m extremely pale and I don’t feel that my natural eye color suits my face at all, and nearly everyone in my family has blue eyes except for my dad, who I don’t wish to bear any resemblance to. I just feel so weird about wearing colored contacts, even though I’m positive that it would look better and more natural on me than hazel does. What is your opinion on this?

I had heard of colored contact lenses for years…finally, they became affordable to me and I wanted badly to try them. I wanted to try some blue eyes….see what it would be like, you know.
What I did not expect, and what occurred, was an enormous amount of ridicule. People tore into me for experI amenting with colored contact lenses….people at work, etc. They acted like it was a despicable thing.
What’s the big deal over that?
The eye doctor never warned me I would get such a negative reaction for experI amenting with my eye color!

Normally it wouldn’t bother me, its their life, if they want to wear lenses then fair enough, let them wear colored lenses.
Today got me thinking though, i was at a university in the library looking through books. A girl came in, Ive seen this girl before, she usually has dark brown eyes but today her eyes were a very light blue. So she stood next to me and started scanning through the books.
Another girl comes in with her freinds, this girl seems to have an issue with the girl who was wearing contact lenses, she gave her a smug look turned to her friends and said something about her lenses and they laughed at her. So the girl with the contact lenses walked off.

(I have a natural green tint to my eyes) so she walks up to me and asks me and i quote!:
"why the f** do you like wearing contact lenses, do you know how stupid you look with them on"? and walks off. I don’t know her and she doesn’t know me, i have never seen her in my life and i don’t think shes seen me.

That uni has a high rate of Pakistani pupils, most of which have either black and brown eyes.

Green, hazel or blue eyes (anything out of the dark brown/black color spectrum) are very rare within the Pakistani community, Everyone assumes that if you don’t have brown or black eyes, your wearing contact lenses.

This got me thinking, do people who wear colored lenses on a regular basis affect those who have naturally different eye colors?

I want to get long-lasting color contacts.
I have 20-20 vision so they need to be non-prescription.
Preferably under 30 dollars.
Also it’d be great if i didnt have to go through my eye doctor to get them.
