Has anyone tried using contacts ‘for light eyes’ on dark eyes? Does it show up properly, or is it made to only enhance already blue eyes?

I just got contact lenses on Monday and I’m terrified to wear makeup with them! However, I do intend to go back to my normal routine eventually…. Is there a really good mascara that doesn’t flake, smudge, etc so it is safe for contact lenses?

It would be good if it came in brown too. I have strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin (and blonde eyelashes!).

I hate having cr*ppy brown eyes. The most pants colour in the world. I’d like to have blue eyes but to scared to try contact lenses because I heard that they can end up at the back of your eye and youd need your eye removed to get the lense out, then put your eye back in again.
It creeps me out. Is that true??

I’m half Japanese and my dad is 100%while my mother is white , they both have blue eyes, even my Asian father, and I really want a deep brown or hazel colored contact lenses, And it honestly hurts when people say I’m not Asian because I’ve always thought of myself as close to my heritage, so how could I persuade my parents to let me buy these? I’ve thought maybe it’s because most blue contact lenses seem to be too light in the center with too dark and too stark a ring around it, but even the slightly less severe ones look fake. And I’m talking about the kind they use in movies- the expensive ones- I’ve never even seen the cheap kind. I can ALWAYS spot blue contacts, even when I hadn’t known the person didn’t have blue eyes naturally.
