I use prescrption contact lenses, and everyone at school is staring to wear colored contact lenses that they buy at flea markets. My friends got me a bunch of colored contact lenses as moving away gifts, so is it safe to wear these with my glasses over them, or is it safe to wear them at all? They came well packaged an everything.

For my birthday I want a pair of colored contact lenses. I have perfect vision and so I don’t wear glasses/contacts, I sI amply want non-prescription colored ones to change/brighten my eye color. I realize it would be 100% safe and guaranteed to just go to an eye doctor and order some, but it would probably be easier to buy some from a seller on eBay or something sI amilar. Is it safe to order from eBay sellers, or could it be unsanitary and could I end up messing up my eyes?

I am trying to find cheap but quality one tI ame use non-prescription solid or crazy colored contact lenses online. Most of the sites I’ve come across seem to be for every day use and are fairly expensive. Does anyone have good past experiences with certain sites and/or brands? I’ve never worn contacts before… are certain kinds better than others (full eyed lenses, certain brands, textures)? Do you have any pointers since I’ve never worn lenses, e.g. don’t do this, don’t buy this kind, always use solution, don’t make this mistake.

I naturally have hazel eyes, sort of a light brown and muted green color, but most people take one quick glance at them and assume that they’re brown. It’s not that I think brown eyes are unattractive, but it irritates me that people treat my eyes as if they’re boring. I would really prefer to have blue eyes, and I’m considering colored contact lenses. I’ve always wanted blue eyes because I’m extremely pale and I don’t feel that my natural eye color suits my face at all, and nearly everyone in my family has blue eyes except for my dad, who I don’t wish to bear any resemblance to. I just feel so weird about wearing colored contacts, even though I’m positive that it would look better and more natural on me than hazel does. What is your opinion on this?

I am jonesin’ to get a pair of colored contact lenses for a halloween outfit idea that I have, so I have been looking into this as much as I can, but I want more information.

My question is, where can I go that is reputable and not too expensive to get colored halloween contact lenses, and are they worth the risk of eye damage (if there really is any)?

I just bought a new set of prescribed colored contact lenses from FreshLook. I know from freshlook that the base curve and the diameter always stays the same. But when I wore it . . .

I couldn’t see clearly. It was very cloudy like when you have an eye booger in your eye, and it’s disturbing your vision. I saw it like that.

I went in to see my eye doctor. She didn’t tell me what was wrong except she made me try on Acuvue’s colored contacts. It was still the same, I think.

Has anyone experienced this before? If so, what did you do to correct it?

The only soft colored contact lenses that I can find for astigmatism are for a cylinder up to -1.75 (Freshlook Colorblends Toric). I am -1.75 in one eye and -2.25 in the other. Are there any other colored soft contacts that I’m unaware of that would work? Thanks!
P.S. I cannot wear hard or gas permeable lenses.

Sorry, that the details to my question is kinda long….

I’m looking into getting the Freshlook Colored Contact Lenses in Sea Green, Gemstone Green, or just plain Green….but my friend who also wants to get them did a little research and told me she found out that the "color" part of the contact is on the outside part of the lenses and therefore is very uncomfortable because, you would feel a little bump on the inside of your eyelids from the contacts’ color part…. I really hope that isn’t uncomfortable cause I really don’t want to get just the clear contacts instead…. please, please tell me if what my friend told me is correct. (I HOPE NOT…. but i just need a fore-warning before buying them)

Okay, I just got new colored contact lenses and when I put them on for the first tI ame I only kept them on for like 30min because it’s kinda hard to see through the small amount of clear part in the middle, and they’re blurry for a second or two each tI ame I blink; which is bad because with colored contacts in I blink around three tI ames as much as usual. I have worn clear contacts(still do), and I can’t feel them, but I remember at first it seemed kinda blurry through them too. Should I give the colored contacts some tI ame to settle in, buy a new brand or color, or just give up on them?
