Do I Need to See an Eye Doctor for a Prescription for Colored Contacts Even Though I Have 20/20 Vision?

Also, I got a free trial certificate from acuvue & freshlook. Does that include color contacts? And one last question, if I do need to see an eye doctor to buy colored contacts, how much does an eye exam cost (estimated)?

Do You Need to Get a Separate Eye Exam for Colored Contacts?

I have clear contacts, but I want to get colored contacts…and I was wondering…do you need to get a separate eye exam for colored contacts? Or can I just use the prescription I use for my clear contacts for colored contacts too? My sister told me I need a separate eye exam for my colored contacts…but that doesn’t really make sense to me. Can anybody clarify this for me?

          Thanks :]

How Bad Are Contact Lenses That Are Bought Online (colorvue + Youknowit)?

I’ve been thinking about buying either colourvue or youknowit colored contacts to wear to school but I’ve never had contacts before so I don’t know what to look out for. You’re supposed to get contacts fitted to your eyes, right? Will it cause any damage if I do wear them?

If you’ve ever used these contact brands before I’d love a description of them like how they felt in your eyes, the quality of the lenses and etc.

I already got my eye exam for the year (for both contacts and regular glasses) but now I want colored contacts…

If I went to Pearle Vision and got another? eye exam, would I need to pay? For some reason, I feel like they have a policy that if I’m buying something from them the exam is free, but I’m not sure.

                          Cheap Non Prescription Colored Contacts

If you are looking for contacts just to change your eye color, cheap non prescription colored contacts are now available in the market. You can now buy cheap colored contacts without having to get a prescription, as long as you know a few minor details!

People often wear cheap non prescription colored lenses solely to modify the color of their eyes or add a certain effect to their eyes. For those who just wish to change their eye color, there is the option for them to buy cheap colored contacts. One of the most sought after lens colors are gray colored contacts, because of the kind of effect it adds to the eye.

To prevent health hazards, you have to be careful while buying cheap colored contacts without prescriptions. Nowadays, it is possible to buy almost anything online, including colored lenses without prescription. Exercise your discretion while buying online by making inquiries and comparing different products to determine which would be the best colored lenses without prescription that you could buy from a safe website.

Next, you have to be sure of secure websites that are good for buying inexpensive colored lenses without a prescription. Look out for products, which are of high quality but low priced. These some of the things you need to know:

You need to know the cornea’s size, including the diameter and the curve of the base when looking to buy non prescription cheap colored contacts. Knowing these details can ensure both comfort and safe use of cheap contacts that have not been prescribed. In case you are not sure of the information, you need to visit an eye specialist for clarification.

Make regular visits to the eye specialist for eye checkups to make sure no damage is caused to the cornea. Even if no discomfort is caused to the eye because of your favorite gray colored lenses, there is always a chance that your favorite colored lens is damaging your eye.

When you choose colored lenses with no prescription, choose what suits you. Choose a colored lens that complements your looks. If possible, choose a color that matches your hair. For example, if you buy new gray colored contacts, you will soon realize that the look you sported with other colored lenses will not work with the Gray Contact Lenses. You will have to find a whole new look to match your new lenses.

Buy what suits you the most and goes well with your preferred color and fashion. Cheap Colored Contacts are safe, as long as you get them from a reputed lens manufacturing company. If you are unsure about which color you want, choose to sport the cool, yet collected gray colored contacts.

Contacts Users? Make-up Before or After Using Contacts?

I just asked this question but didn’t get many answers.. please help
Ok so I just want to get some colored contacts for fun and was wondering if you put in the contacts before applying make-up or afterwards? Also, what "sphere" would I need to order? Do I just order a "0.00" if I have no sight problems? I don’t want to damage my eyesight by getting a "sphere" that is too high for me. I just want it so that it’s perfectly clear -nothing added or subtracted. I don’t want these contacts for seeing purposes -they’re just for fun. Last but not least, can you give me directions on how to clean and care for the contacts? How long do Fresh Look Colorblends last? Do they expire? Thanks

I also noticed people will get a different "sphere" for their different eyes like +5.00 for the left eye and -6.00 for the right eye. If I’m just getting these for cosmetic purposes, would I just get a 0.00 for each eye? That means I only need to buy one set because each set comes in a pair with 2 lenses? thanks again

Last thing, when removing make-up.. do I take out the contacts before removing eye make-up or afterwards? These questions may sound like a no-brainer, but I really don’t know! I’m going to see my auntie who’s an eye doctor soon so I can ask her but I wanted to know before I asked..

FYI, I’m buying these contacts online since they’re not prescription or anything. Will the expiration date be on the box? Is it usually on the box? I know that they’re not the "one day" contacts so I’m assuming they’ll last for a month or longer.. not sure.

These are the ones I want to get:

If You Could Have Any Color of Contacts What Color Would You Chose?

A friend told me in England everyone choses clear contacts when they buy them. I told her here in the states, most people chose a lens with color…like people who have brown eyes will get the contacts that make your eyes blue or green…so what color would you chose for your contacts?
I know many people who have several pairs of colored contacts so they can change their eyes on a regular basis…I’ve also seen contacts for cosmetic purposes only in everything from snake eyes to solid black.

Can I Get Colored Contacts Without Prescription in Them?

okay i have really ugly brown eyes and they’re too plain.

so i want colored contacts in green.
i know i know they might not be light enough.

but if i walk into costco or something can i order them there?

                            please & thanks :)

How Often Do I Have to Clean My Contacts?

I recently bought colored contacts that have no strength.
Therefore I barely wear them maybe once a week.
So, how often should I be changing the solution in the case of rubbing them clean.

In short, can I leave them in the lens case and then just clean them before I want to wear them?
