I have clear contacts, but I want to get colored contacts…and I was wondering…do you need to get a separate eye exam for colored contacts? Or can I just use the prescription I use for my clear contacts for colored contacts too? My sister told me I need a separate eye exam for my colored contacts…but that doesn’t really make sense to me. Can anybody clarify this for me?

I’ve been thinking about buying either colourvue or youknowit colored contacts to wear to school but I’ve never had contacts before so I don’t know what to look out for. You’re supposed to get contacts fitted to your eyes, right? Will it cause any damage if I do wear them?

Ok so I just want to get some colored contacts for fun and was wondering if you put in the contacts before applying make-up or afterwards? Also, what "sphere" would I need to order? Do I just order a "0.00" if I have no sight problems? I don’t want to damage my eyesight by getting a "sphere" that is too high for me. I just want it so that it’s perfectly clear -nothing added or subtracted. I don’t want these contacts for seeing purposes -they’re just for fun. Last but not least, can you give me directions on how to clean and care for the contacts? How long do Fresh Look Colorblends last? Do they expire? Thanks

A friend told me in England everyone choses clear contacts when they buy them. I told her here in the states, most people chose a lens with color…like people who have brown eyes will get the contacts that make your eyes blue or green…so what color would you chose for your contacts?
