i wear prescription contacts & i have glasses, and i wanted to get colored contacts. i wanted to get the non-prescription ones because there cheaper nd ill just wear my glasses over them. do you guys know any reliable safe websites that sell them? oh and do i need like a doctors note or something?

Just recently I bought a pair of non-prescriptive colored contacts (soft lens) but I’m having major problems trying to insert them in. The first tI ame I finally got to wore them, it took me PLUS my friend who knows how to do this TWO HOURS just to get them on. So far by myself, I can’t do it…and I’ve gone through youtube videos but I still can’t get the help I need.

I think the problem is is that I blink too much or maybe because since I have Asian eyes, it’s kinda hard for me to pull down my eyelids hard enough to get them wide.

Is there any advice anyone can lend out?

My last option is to go to an eye doctor to see if he/she can teach me. Do they usually charge for that and if so how much?

I’m wanting to get some colored contacts to wear just for fun every once in a while and would like to buy them from an online store.

I dont wear or need glasses or contacts. I have hazel eyes and would want to get maybe an aqua or pink purple color lens.

Ive read that you have to get fitted for them an a perscription to buy them, but is that REALLY necessary? I wouldnt even be buying them from an actaul lens website like acuve.com or 1800contacts.com
the site i found ones i liked didnt require anything like that since they arent perscription lenses

so if i order them without seeing an eye doctors is there any SERIOUS problems that i could have with them?

i need some brown eyes…

so i was looking online for colored contacts…but you need like the measurements at your eye doctor…but i have 20/20 vision, so i dunno what size lens or whatever i have…so i called For Eyes, and the lady said just to check the measurements is .00!!!! and i dont want to spend 84 just to check that and then buy contacts for one day to use…

sooo it possible if i just put in any size i can put those in my eyes?? will that mess up my eyes?? i just need them for one day…

I am renewing my license tomorrow but I have always worn colored contacts (corrective). Two years ago on my original driver’s license I was able to keep my contacts on and they were gray (not very noticeable). On my driver’s license my eye color says brown.
Now I have green contacts. Will it be an issue if I tell them I have brown eyes but take a picture with green?

I don’t have the money right now to go and get my eyes check and get prescription colored contacts. So I though until I get my prescription colored contacts, I’ll just get non prescription contacts to go under my prescription glasses just to enchant my looks and bring more attention to my face and eyes and not my other regions. My eyesight is horrible. I am a -8.5 in both eyes and I’m only 23. I really want to order colored contacts, but I cannot find anything in a prescription worse than -8.0. I don’t mind paying extra if the contact lenses have to be specially made, but I wouldn’t even know where to begin. Any feedback is appreciated.

I love the idea of cosplaying, but when I get into something I absolutely LOVE, I try and perfect it as much as I can possibly do (haha stupid perfectionist trait ). So I bought some colored contacts for a con I went to, and I came home tonight and realized that the bottle of solution spilled all over in my bag. So now I have this contact lens in my eye and no solution to put it in.

I have blue eyes and I wish I had brown eyes basically.
