If you watch TV in the dark, it’ll give you eye strain. Especially when the colors’ contrast changes too fast for your eyes to ajust. I learned that this does not damage your eyes but just gives it eye strain. Can this "exercise" help astigmatism?
I’ll rephrase the last question.
Can this "exercise" reduce the degree of astigmatism?

I have brownish/green eyes, but I really want deep rich brown eyes like my mom[shes asian].
I have searched sooo many places online but they only have normal brown looking colors,
Do yo uknow anywhere they sell them??
Or have you tried the black ones? I know that once you wear them, they become lighter if you have light eyes, did they become somewhat lighter for you?

This is gonna sound stupid but i have astigmatism but i would like to wear regular contacts. I dont know so il put my prescription
SPH -6.00, -7.50 / CYL -2.25 (both) / Axis 180 (both) / B.C 8.6 / DIA 14.5
How bad would i see if say if i got regular contacts since i dont really just want to throw away money. I mean its not like I need a hawk’s vision since I sit in front of class and work is really in front my face and the majority of things I do I dont need to see very far away or 100% clear. I ask cuz i would like to try different brands and even colors but I cant since i have astigmatism. Like I want to try those 30 day extendable wear contacts since sometI ames I forget and I sleep with them (stupid me). Would say can I just get them without astigmatism correction, like companies advertise free trials so I guess I would not risk losing money and try them out to see if its a really big difference.

I’m thinking about getting colored contacts, i already have pretty decent vision and i just want them to stand out a bit. And i’ve been debating between a couple of colors (*green, Grey, and sapphire)so i was curiouse to if when you buy them, do u have to I ammediatly tell them what color, or can you try them on to see what you like best?

Also, if u have a free trial certificate for some contacts, how much would it cost for everything else (fitting & appointment, w/ insurance covering 75%)

If colored contact lenses have a fixed "iris" and can’t adjust the "pupil" diameter like the eye itself does, wouldn’t they:
- Not allow in as much light as a dilated pupil would
and / or
- Create two concentric iris colors in bright light as the natural iris is exposed

I got a coupon thing in the mail for a free pair of FreshLook colored contacts. I have dark brown eyes, pale to medium skin and dark hair.

Anyway it was like a promotion thing for some new colors they got Grey, Blue and Green. It said they work good with dark eyes but I would have to go get fitted and I don’t wanna waste my tI ame if they don’t even work.

I have few questions regarding contact lens and regular lens

For the last 1 year I have been wearing contact lens. In the contact lens prescription doctor wrote I have -1.5 powers on both eyes (acuve2) and the contact lens prescription expires in 2 months. Yesterday I went to another eye doctor for an eye glass exam she said I have -1.5 on both eyes. (Reason I went to get eyeglass exam is contact lens exam is 60% more than eyeglass exam)

1.I have the same power Can I get use the old prescription to get contact lens for a year supply.
2.In the first prescription doctor wrote acuve2 can I get acuve2 colors.

thanks everyone!
the reason why i asked if there were any free trials online is because my eye doctor actually charges a visit and a contact fitting appointment..i have contacts already btw. but anyways i just dont think that is very fair to have to pay that much money and on top of that if i like the colored contacts buy those too..my aunt went to get colored contacts and she has a different eye doctor, when she was there for her eye examine they let her try any colors she wanted she didnt have to make a new appointment. idk why my doctor is doing that..thanks!
