My cousin said he got a good deal for contacts lense…he got a year supply of contacts for only 100 something. He doesn’t remember where he got them.
I recently got an eye exam and a prescription for contact lense. The brand I’m looking for is Air Optix Toric. It’s for Astigmatism so it cost alot more. Everywhere I go, its about a box w/6 contacts . Thats way too much. Does anyone know where I can go to find a cheaper price or get the same deal my cousin did?

For seven years my prescription for my glasses has been -4.0 in each eye, and the same for my contacts. At my last eye exam the doctor changed my left contact lens to -4.25 and my left eyeglasses lens to -3.75. I received a trial pair of contact lenses, which made it difficult to read because the left eye was too strong. The doctor did a re-check, and he put me back in the -4.0 contact lenses for each eye, but left the eyeglasses at -3.75 and -4.0. I don’t have any problems reading or seeing distances with my current glasses. I want to order prescription sunglasses elsewhere, during a sale from 4/30-5/5, but I am not sure that my regular glasses from the doctor will be in, as they were special order, and I am afraid that this prescription will be wrong and I will be out the money for the lenses. Is it normal to have a change like this?
actually it does have a .50 astigmatism, but that’s for both eyes, and only one contact lense is stronger…
it is -3.75 x .50 x some number

I got my glasses prescription from the optometrist and went to the glasses store and they converted it to a contact lens prescription and i got my contact but i had problem with one of my eye so i went to the store and told them they checked my prescription and they said that the contact lense i got were infact according to the prescription ( the eye i am having problem with is the left eye no astigmatism -2.5 power) ok so they say taht go to the optometrist and get your eyes checked again i go back and the optometrist tells me that they dont deal with contact lens problems and that i should get glasses made so now my question is if i get glasses made and my prescription is styll wrong then obviosly ill have to get a new prescription and make new glasses when i get this new prescription from my optometrist will it be my optometrist fault for giving me the wrong prescription in the first place and would he cover the cost of new lenses in my glasses?

My optometrist (which, by the way, I hired specifically to give me a contact lenses prescription) has refused to release a prescription to prevent me from buying contacts elsewhere (outside of his Office). I am unaware whether or not it is illegal for hI am to refuse to give me a prescription, but after months of following up with hI am about it, his secretary gave me the following eye measurements, which I can’t decipher into a prescription. Can anyone tell me what my Contact Lense prescription is based on these measurements?

hi there people, i’m here a contact lens user, which is the Baush and Lomb model contact lense.

the seller i buy the contact lenses advise me to change each pair of lenses that i use for every month. the point is, right now i dont have money to buy another pack of the lenses which is have 3 pairs of lens, right now I am using the last pair of lenses i have, it been over a month i using it, in 8 days over already. what will happen to my eyes? is there any bad or good effect? i want both of it, the good and bad effect please.

I would love to have colored contact lenses, but not any type! The crazy ones or like cat eyes. I live in Centereach and am having trouble finding a colored contact lense store near by! I have dark brown eyes and I was just wondering if you got a contact lense that’s lighter than your eye pigment, would it make your eye lighter? I know if you mix brown with another color it might be ugly, but I was just wondering.

I was wearing a pair of non prescription colored contact lenses and I went to take them out before I went to sleep and there was only one in my eye. My right eye didn’t have the contact lense in it.
