Ok, I am 13 years old and 20/80 vision. Yeah I know, it is bad. Anyway, I am going to the contact lens fitting in a couple days. Can you please answer these questions?
-What is the fitting like?
-Should I take my glasses?
-Do I get the actual contacts at that same appointment or do I have to wait to order them?
-^^^ If so, how long is the wait?
-Will I be allowed to wear them to school the very next day after my appointment or do I have to wear them like 4 hours the first day and so on?
-What contacts do you recommend?
-Do all contacts need solution and the little plastic case (including the daily disposables)?
-About how long should I allow before school to get the contact lenses in?
-Do they hurt?
-Is it true that your eyes adapt to the contact lens prescription quickly and then you need a new prescription?

-About how long does the fitting take?
-Will it be okay to have my contacts in for about 14 hours a day?

I paid for an eye exam for glasses a couple days ago so that I could find out my prescription and order contacts online since it is cheaper that way. Turns out, I need the doctor’s consent (I should have just paid for a contact lens exam) in order to order contacts online
Will an optometry order contact lenses for me if I ask? I know what my vision is..

I am interested in getting colored contacts, but I have astigmatism and I am nearsighted. I went for an eye exam and a fitting (for contacts) a couple days ago and the optometrist told me there are no colored contacts for my conditions. Was she mistaken? Or is she correct?
