Do colored contacts work on dark eyes? My eyes are a light brown/gold with like dark brown flecks in them. Would emerald green or blue contacts work on my eyes?

i have really dark brown eyes, black-brown. I hate them i really want blue or green eyes, but most people i know who have colored contacts look really weird and fake. Does anyone know of colored contacts that work on dark eyes and look real?

They ripped me off a few months ago . I bought 2 pairs of lens , OCRE and MEL because they told me they would look natural on my dark eyes. I was totally disappointed because I sent pictures of my eyes and I asked them that I didn’t want any grey , blue or green color and they didn’t care my order !
Also, they don’t make you aware about all the fees that you have to pay when the pckg is coming to your country ( MEX) .
They just want your money and they told you that they will give you what you are looking for but it is all a FRAUD !
So, I want to report this fraud !

Do you think that colored contacts look natural if your eyes were brown, I mean can people really think that your real eye color is green when it’s really brown. Do you approve of colored contacts? I have light green eyes and I am having problems finding a contact to darken them. I would like to find a lens that turns them a dark brown – not any type of golden, light brown or hazel shade. I can find lots of colored lenses made for people with dark eyes, but am having problems finding something for my light eyes.

Any suggestions??

I love whatever colored contact lenses that Kristen Stewart has on in the Twilight movies – she has light eyes, too. The darker colored contacts make her eyes look so pretty.

I was under the I ampression that people with dark eyse like mine (dark hazel-brown) cannot use colored contact lenses as the colors won’t show up.

Are there any contact lenses for dark eyes in strong, vibrant colors like violet or emerald green (Or even a nice bright grey)?
ETA – Just to clarify, I’m not even sure I *can* wear contacts, or even want to. I’m mostly looking for some brand names that cater to dark eyes and recommendations of people’s favorites.

I wear colored contacts, but I don’t like how the pupil area looks, it makes my pupils look huge. If anyone knows what I mean. I have dark eyes so this has alot to do with it. I’m going for like a hazel brown lens color. Does anyone know any good lenses that well ..don’t have this effect lol.

Ok So,
I got a coupon thing in the mail for a free pair of FreshLook colored contacts. I have dark brown eyes, pale to medium skin and dark hair.

Anyway it was like a promotion thing for some new colors they got Grey, Blue and Green. It said they work good with dark eyes but I would have to go get fitted and I don’t wanna waste my tI ame if they don’t even work.
