just curious. Walgreen’s has the contact lens stuff free after register reward. I don’t wear contacts but do use dry eye drops sometimes.
Does it WORK ?

No downside ?

Hi,

I wear soft contact lens. Lately I’m experiencing dry-eye problem and I was told by a doctor to constantly use eye drops until winter is over. But the problem is that eye drops are soooo expensive.

I was wondering if I can simply use my contact lens solution as my eye drops during the day. I use Opti-Free Replenish Contact Lens Solution. Is it possible? dangerous? safe? stupid idea?? Please help. Thanks!

I am a soft contact lens user and i’ve been using lenses for the last 12 years. I bought a new pair of contact lenses about 6 months ago. Since yesterday i’ve developed severe itching in my left eye after 4-5 hours of wearing.
Is it a problem with my lenses or eye?
Is it anything to do with dry eye as i am inside an aircondititioned area?
When i remove the lenses i see a strong circular I ampression of my eye (the eye black) in the lenses? Anything to do with lens size etc?
Would a disposable lenses be a better option than the regular?
Any help, advise would be of I ammense help.

Well my eye doctor told me I had astigmatism, but not enough so that I couldn’t just wear regular contacts…but my contacts feel SO uncomfortable in my eye. I have eye allergy. Not the terrible kind that burns your eyes, but the kind that gives a dry-eye sensation and an occasional foreign body sensation. I have severe dry eye, and the couple of eye drops that I have used only last for a few minutes and then my eyes are dry again. Is there a thicker and more cushioning eye drop that is safe to use with RGP (gas permeable) contact lenses.
