Dont tell me not to get contacts because I am. Im changing my eye color. But do I still have to get an exam? I already know that my power would be 0.00. If I do, do I have to go to an optician? Because mine is really not friendly and will laugh at me. Anywhere else I could get one if I have to?

I had an eye exam at 3:00 today where they put a dilating drop in my right eye. Now it’s still huge as ever 5 hours later! I feel like a goofball walking around with one huge pupil and the other one normal, plus it’s uncomfortable. I heard it may depend on eye color, but I thought it was a myth… I have blue eyes if this is indeed true. Any thoughts? It’s making me a bit paranoid. Thanks.

I am renewing my license tomorrow but I have always worn colored contacts (corrective). Two years ago on my original driver’s license I was able to keep my contacts on and they were gray (not very noticeable). On my driver’s license my eye color says brown.
Now I have green contacts. Will it be an issue if I tell them I have brown eyes but take a picture with green?

I think brown eyes are great. But SOME girls like to wear blue, green, or gray (the worst one) contacts. The worst part isn’t even how unnatural it looks, but the idea that these girls are envious of blue and green eyed people and make them out to seem more distinguished…

LOL oh wow Chua I just realized that whore is a car magazine "representative" and has done stuff for penthouse? This is what happens when your parents don’t give you enough attention as a kid and you don’t pay attention in school. Yeah, her issues speak for themselves. Look Miss penn. It’s not the fact that they are colored. I have nothing against naturally colored eyed people. Yeah if you’re naturally blue, that’s great. But I hate anything unnatural. I don’t see why brown eyed girls have to do something like get colored contacts when brown eyes are already pretty. Again, NO hair is NOT the same thing. Why do people always use that lame false analogy?

Besides looking at what race they are(Asian,black,etc), is it possible to tell if someone is wearing colored contacts?

For example if a black person were to wear blue contacts it would probably be obvious because black people usually don’t get blue eyes. However, if an Asian person wore hazel contacts could you tell without asking them if their eye color is really hazel or if they’re just contacts.

My eye Doctor only gave me the option of six month disposable contact lenses and theyre pretty expensive. I heard that daily and weekly disposables are safer and can cost less. My question is that if you could get an exam from your eye doctor to see if yoyou can wear contact lenses, tell hI am to write you a prescription, and then buy them online or places like walmart optical? I have dark brown eyes and this summer i am getting colored contacts for something different than just plain contacts which color would look better… I wanted a blue or a green because if i get colored contacts i want a big difference in eye color.

I’ve always been told my vision is 20/20. Recently I went to get an eye exam so that I could get plano lenses to change my eye color a little, and the optometrist said I needed a mild prescription:

What do these measurements mean? And is it advisable to ask for plain lenses anyway? I’ve never worn a prescription before and I don’t really see a point to wearing them if my vision seems fine.
