Do you think that colored contacts look natural if your eyes were brown, I mean can people really think that your real eye color is green when it’s really brown. Do you approve of colored contacts? And what color should you get if you have dark eyes? Wouldn’t blue be horrible? What color would look natural?

I have dark brown eyes and I want to change my eye color to blue. I have been looking at FreshLook Toric blue lenses. I am going to the eye doctor tomorrow to see what is best. I have astigmatism obviously and I am wondering if my doctor will have the blue toric lenses available for my eye prescription. On my current contact boxes this is my prescription:

I bought nonprescription contacts online. The box says to follow the included care instructions, but there are none. The brand is Calaview, Disposable Soft Contact Lens, 60 Day way, 2-tone (if that makes any difference). They’re just meant to change the eye color.
What I really want to know is what cleaning solutions, saline mix, type of case, etc. I need to buy. I have no idea what brand, what type, well, you get the point. Thanks for the help.

For my birthday I want a pair of colored contact lenses. I have perfect vision and so I don’t wear glasses/contacts, I sI amply want non-prescription colored ones to change/brighten my eye color. I realize it would be 100% safe and guaranteed to just go to an eye doctor and order some, but it would probably be easier to buy some from a seller on eBay or something sI amilar. Is it safe to order from eBay sellers, or could it be unsanitary and could I end up messing up my eyes?

Colored Contacts for Dark Skin

I have always had trouble finding a contact color good for my skin & eye color. I want something kind of natural or maybe just an enhancement to my dark brown eyes. I went on a website and the girl at the top has skin tone, hair color, and sort of looks like me. Her contact lenses look beautiful. I just don’t know what color it is (specific name) and I don’t know where to purchase them. HELP!

Hey you guys i need an opinion from some one who’s actually had experience with either both or one of these Acuvue 2 Colors Opaques or Solotica contact lenses Ive been looking for colored contacts that don’t look extremely fake like some ive worn ( I know there all fake if there not your eye color :-p) but i want some decent looking ones I have brown eyes and i want to know from some one whos worn either or both which one works better with brown eyes that will give me a more natural look? i want to buy a new pair of colored lenses, but i’m not sure what exactly to get. i want either dark green or purple opaque (correcting) contacts. right now i have light brown colored contacts, but they’re not opaque & they look really unnatural.

I had heard of colored contact lenses for years…finally, they became affordable to me and I wanted badly to try them. I wanted to try some blue eyes….see what it would be like, you know.
What I did not expect, and what occurred, was an enormous amount of ridicule. People tore into me for experI amenting with colored contact lenses….people at work, etc. They acted like it was a despicable thing.
What’s the big deal over that?
The eye doctor never warned me I would get such a negative reaction for experI amenting with my eye color!
