I am a teen, and have tried contacts once. Didn’t like them so went back to glasses. I found colored contacts. I want purple ones. I want to try contacts one more tI ame. But, this tI ame I am sure that I will keep them. My parents, won’t let me try them again. But, I REALLY want to. Any ideas.
I’ll be aloud to get purple. Or maybe I should go with blue. I’ll try both on to see which looks better. If, I can get them.

I am a 7th grader and I am playing volley ball next year so I am planing on getting me a pair of contact lenses (i haven’t talked to my parents yet , because I am gathering infos so that my mom will think that I am ready for them )

so my question is how much will the whole process cost? (from eye exam to buying contacts ) and how what kind of acuvue contacts should i get ? (ill probably need to wear them everyday) also is it good for a 7th grader to wear circled lenses or colored lenses ? (not daily)

I want contacts / colored ones. And my parents seem to let me. Yes, i do wear glasses. And i feel like i want to try some contacts. Before i start, my friends told me that it can cause eye infections, they’re dirty, and stuff like that.

What are some bad things about contacts? What happens if it makes your eyes really dry? And i know that this might be the stupidest thing ever, but could you die from wearing contacts? ( Really bad infections as i have been told from my friends )

What are the requirements you need in order to wear contacts? ( A specific age, etc )

Also, How much do colored and non-colored lenses usually cost, and where would be a good place in Canada to get contacts?

hey,I am a 16 year old guy..
Well,just like anyone else,i’d like to wear those colored lenses just for fun (also,to see what its like)..for a few days..
but my parents wont get them for me because they think its only for girls..they actually think that its gay for a guy to try them..and they know theyre safe..
anyway,i know that in many places,yoyou can get them without a prescription from an optician..but i dont know how to wear them? (my parents obviously wont take me to an optician)
i heard that you can damage your eye if you dont know how to wear/remove them..
could anyone tell me how to wear/remove them? someone who has worn contact lenses?
So, basically,is it enough to ask for advice on how to wear them? or is there anything else that the optician warns you about them?

So, i just got my contact lenses from my family eye doctor …
i think i did pretty good considering putting them on and off ,
plus i’ve read almost EVERY info. i could find on the internet about taking care of lenses etc …
my doctor gave me a 2 week free trial of Air-Optic for Astigmatism.
i dont really like them … maybe is just I am not use to wearing contacts

BUT anyway ~ i would like to try some other brands and some colored contacts such as Acuvue, GEO, FreshLook, etc etc .
although my parents said ive to go to the doctor’s office to re-fit them when ever i try on new lenses … I am not sure if they are right or what so ever,cuz i thought as long as you have your right prescription and stuff you could juz order them off on-line or in store as long as its legit ?

also another question can i just wear soft lenses instead of those special Astigmatism ?? and what’s your favorite brand ??
but my eye doctor say that they don’t have any of those colored contacts i want

they only got Acuvue2 …

They always said NO.

But my eye doctor said that as long as I am responsible, I can get Contacts.

But a girl who worked at a glasses place said that you should wait till they get

13 or 14 to get contact lens.

okay so i want to get colored contacts but i wanted to try the free trial first.

i sent in all my information and then they sent me a certificate to my email for a free in-office trial

so does that mean they will give me prescription ones?
do i get to wear them out of the office?

because i have an eye-app. today and i am currently wearing my LAST pair of contacts.
last tI ame i went in for a checkup, they took my contacts out. i don’t remember if he gave them back to me. but if he doesn’t i’m screwed because i don;t wear glasses…. and my parents said they won’t buy me contacts at the office, they will only order them cause they are cheaper…

I’m half Japanese and my dad is 100%while my mother is white , they both have blue eyes, even my Asian father, and I really want a deep brown or hazel colored contact lenses, And it honestly hurts when people say I’m not Asian because I’ve always thought of myself as close to my heritage, so how could I persuade my parents to let me buy these?
