Mine recently snapped in half and I have really bad vision. I have to go take school tests March 14-19th and I need glasses ASAP. I was just wondering how much eye exams and glasses are at Walmart’s eye vision center? And how long it takes after you get the eye exam to get the actual glasses? Thank you! I really appreciate any help.

I bought glasses from Walmart about 3 years ago. I had the eye exam done there too. However, I have since lost my prescription, and would like to order glasses from an online vendor (referred by a friend). Do you think Walmart will be able to give me my prescription, even though it has been 3 years? Basically, do vision prescriptions "expire"?

I had an eye exam for contact lenses almost exactly a year ago at Walmart Vision.

I’m -3.00 in both eyes and my eyes have not changed. Can I go and buy more contacts or will I need another prescription? (meaning new eye exam)

Okay, so I got my first pair of contact lenses last month, and my optometrist gave a Opti-Free starter kit, which included everything, even a cute carrying bag. He then tells me that he only recommends using either Opti-Free or Bausch and Lomb contant lens solution because store and generic brands are not trustworthy. Well, i am now out of solution, went to go buy another bottle and realized how expensive they are! The Equate (walmart band) is a third of what Opti Free costs and I am on a tight budget! Is it okay to use this once?

So I been going to a normal optometry clinic place for years to get eye exams, since I wear contacts. The prescription for both of my eyes have always been the same. But just recently I really needed to get another eye exam and the normal place I go to was closed for the next 4 days so I ended up going to Walmart and now all of a sudden they say I have astigmatism which would mean somehow one of my eyes got way better and the other one worse. Do you think I should go get another exam at my usual place?
