If i want to go to like walmart for an eye check, do i need to make an appointment before i go there or what? && is it possible to call the vision center to ask questions before i go? if so i cant find the number to call.

on Saturday I have an appointment to renew my eye contact prescription.

Should I wear the contacts I have to the eye exam? Or go without contacts?

Also, when I called Walmart Vision to make an appointment I told them I didn’t need the contact fitting part, as I didn’t want to pay for it, but she told me it comes with the whole thing (in otherwords i have to pay for it regardless.) Was she lying or telling the truth? Can I just skip the fitting part even if I must pay for it?

How much will it cost? Eye exam and contacts. Im not talking about getting a year supply just a box. Do I have to buy two boxes? One for my right eye and one for my left? Im 20 years old and havent been to the Optometrists in about 6 years. What should i expect? Can i drive home if i get my eyes dilated? Im planning on getting colored contacts. Can I go to, say Walmart, and get my vision tested for contact lenses, then tell the optometrist that I want to try several different contact lenses first?

I know I have to pay for the vision test, but will I have to pay every single tI ame I get a new trial pair from a new company? Or can I use the same prescription? (considering I get the trial pairs from the same Walmart vision center)

I want to get colored contacts but I dont have a vision problem but I do know that you have to get your eyes measured for contacts to get the right size… Can I just go to an eye doctor for that or will I have to get the full eye exam? Also, do you know if walmart does this? or about how much an eye doctor charges?

So here’s the deal..My cuzzin bought a pair of blue colored contacts & she only wore them once, just for like 20 minutes..And i really want to try them on just for fun to see what they look like :]

As I am writing this question, i am staring at the contacts lol they’re pretty temping.

She already sanitized them and stuff..

First off, I just want to say that any information of any of the stores I listed i appreciated. Here are my questions: Are the contact lens checkups in walmart good and accurate? What about JCPenny, Sam’s club, and Costco? How much does the checkup and followup checkup cost before insurance? About how much would it cost in total for everything (contacts for 6 months(one eye with astigmatism, the oth without), checkup, follow up checkup, etc.) at any of these stores if I buy contact from one of these stores? Has anyone fond a good deal for a checkup and contacts? Remember, any inforation of any of these stores if appreciated….and whoever has the best and most info gets 10 points!
Also, the same questions apply for target, sears, or any other optical center
