What Are Your Opinions About People Who Wear COLORED Contacts?

If they wear colored contacts, do you think that they are wannabees? and that their pretty eyes are "fake"? like you get caught up into their pretty eyes but then when they take it off, it’s gone? i’m thinking about getting colored contacts and i really want them but when i see other people with colored contacts, i think they are "fake". if i get them, i would feel like a "fake" too? what do you think?

Honestly? I think you’re over-analyzing it. I don’t think people are "fake" just because they wear colored contacts. It shouldn’t say anything about their personality. I don’t wear them, I have naturally blue eyes, but that doesn’t mean I judge someone because they want blue eyes, and don’t have them.

Just try on a pair, if you don’t like them, don’t get them!

I mean I have brown eyes, when I got them I didn’t go alien on them and made it purple or gray/white ..lol.. I got them light brown so it sort of made it’s own fusion.. guys on the street would run into things after looking at me ..lol..then I stopped wearing them because I would get way too many compliments and I didn’t feel right about them cos they weren’t real.
Paris Hilton has brown eyes and brown hair but got blue contacts and got her hair bleached not to mention plastic surgery done on her whole face – I guess she’s happy that way but I feel as though that it is sort of strange and extreme.

I think it depends on what type they wear. If they wear something to accentuate their eye color right now, it looks pretty cool. I also like it when they wear the ones that make their face look better, like a brunnette changing her eyes from blue to brown. But, when people go far out and wear insane colors, I think it is stupid and makes them look ugly.
P.S.-If you want to get into the fake stuff with contacts, you would have to challenge every single acne cream and hair coloration thing as well, because that is preventing people from being who they truly are as well, yet they are considered just fine.

if they don’t lie about the color of their eyes and try and get away with it — ESPECIALLY in a relationship, then i think it’s fine…i mean, just because they weren’t born with something that they want doesn’t mean they should deprive themselves for their entire life. It wasn’t their choice what color eyes they have and if they really want a different color eye, then that’s fine.

I have naturally hazel eyes that turn green. For several years in high school i wore green tints to keep them that green color that i really like. I no longer wear them but I loved them when I had them. They were also easier to find if I dropped them lol. I would try tints if you are unsure. They don’t change the color, they just enhance it, and it is about as natural looking as you can get. Most ppl didn’t even know I had them.

  • I Love wearing color contacts especially the creepy ones that you can wear on Halloween.

  • I agree with the first commenter, I think you’re over thinking the whole thing. If you decide to wear them it should be for you, for what you think, and never for what other people might think
