What Colored Contacts Would Work Best for Dark Brown Eyes?

I’m wanting to change up my look alittle bit and was wondering what colored contacts would look good with really dark brown eyes. I have tan skin and dark hair. I really love green and blue eyes. Would i even be able to pull that off and do colored contacts even work?

Honestly, with dark brown eyes colored contacts usually end up looking ridiculous. You tend to get a brown ring around the false color and you’ll just look silly.
I would suggest a Honey or a Brown Color. You don’t want to go with Blue, Green, or Gray. That will look fake. Colored Contacts do work, just be sure you have an contact lens exam that will fit you for colored contacts and then you’ll have a valid prescription.
They make colored contacts especially for people with dark eyes, and they don’t look fake at all. I think green eyes would look beautiful with tan skin and dark hair. Go to an optometrist (they have them in Wal-Mart, JCPenney, Sears) and ask what kind of colored contacts they have and if you can try them on. Most places, if they know you’re serious about wanting to buy, will let you try them on. Check out this website:

I would say blue eyes but if u want it to look different I would go with green. From the description u sound like u look like me and u would look best in green.
Oooh I definitely think you should do green!! Dark hair and green eyes always looks so pretty! Tyra Banks does that with contacts, too, I think and it looks so exotic. Who cares if they look a little bit fake, it’s fun and they look pretty.
I have worn tons of different colored lenses, like Freshlook and Impressions. Clearly Colors are fun, too, but those ones are really bright so it’s not good if you want something natural looking.
And YES colored lenses DO totally work. Just watch out that you don’t get anything called "Enhancers" or that says it’s for light eyes because those ones won’t show up on you if you have dark eyes.
