What Is the Practical Difference Between Daily Versus Weekly Wear Contact Lenses?

I’ve only worn Acuvue Advance/Oasys bi-weekly disposables, but I’m interested in the difference between those and the daily wear version. I’d I amagine with good maintenance you could stretch out the daily version for a couple more days and save money that way. What exactly is the difference?

The daily lenses in general are a cheaper/thinner material and won’t last 3 days.

They work out to be a lot more expensive over a year than the bi-weekly or monthly lenses.

The idea of the daily lenses are that you don’t need to buy solution to clean and store them , you just throw them away at the end of the day.

Bi-weekly, even with the cost of solutions are more cost effective.

Actually, you can’t wear daily lenses more than 2 days. They are meant to do that, and they can damage your eye if you do. So, if you are looking to wear dailies for 4 or 5 days, then stick with Oasys.

    Good luck!
