What Power Is Colored Contacts That Don’t Effect Your Vision?

I want to get colored contacts just for the cosmetic feature, but I don’t want to change my vision what so ever. I can’t go back to the optometrist until next year, due to my insurance. Can you help me, please??

colored contacts that dont affect your vision are called PLANO. that is the industry term for 0.00 and has no power whatsoever in them. You can go to your optometrist and ask him/her to order plano cosmetic lenses or ask them to write you a prescription for it. Since you’ve already seen them this year, you have the right to ask for this. Hope this helps. Good luck to ya:)

I was a manager at Lenscrafters before so trust me when I say colored contacts won’t affect your vision. You didn’t say if you have a plain rx or not. I’m assuming you don’t need glasses. You can order plain cosmetic rx contacts. If it’s been a year or a little over, most places will accept an rx, unless it’s a very strong rx. If you went to an Ophthalmologist the rx last for 2 years. You still need an rx because they have to measure your eye, etc…for the fitting of your contacts. Because if you don’t get the correct fitting it hurts. Hope this helps.
