What's the Difference Between Contact Lenses?

I’m thinking about switching to contacts, and I want to know what’s the difference between disposable and non-disposable lenses–besides the price. Also, with disposables, there are dailys, weeklys, and monthlies, what’s that difference with that? If there isn’t wouldn’t monthlies be the obvious choice? I mean, there’s less hassle…

Dailys, of course, have their advantages. This is because you can throw them out after each use. However weeklies and monthlies are more cost-wise but require much more care — cleaning, looking after them in a safe place, and making sure that they don’t pick up bacteria.
Just go for whatever your optometrist suggests, or what you feel comfortable purchasing. Make sure, when you make the switch, that you have the right lenses for your eye type.

Dailies are more suitable for people who are part time wearer. meaning they wear their lense for like 2 times every week. Bi-weekly lenses and monthlies lense area bout the same expect that the wearing period is different. Cost wise, monthly will be much more cost effective.
