What's Your Opinion on Colored Contact Lenses?

I think they’re alright. The majority of my friends feel it makes a person fake. What do you think?

I have blue colored contacts, and I have dark brown eyes.
I love them honestly.
I wear them every once in a while because I don’t like my eye color.
I wouldn’t care what your friends think, it’s all you girll.
it depends, if you have like brown eyes and theyre boring, they can work wonders for some people. hwoever.. if you go dramatic like purple.. who are you fooling, you just look dumb
also, there is more than one shade of blue, but theres one blue thats really pretty but NO ONES eyes look like that!
basically, if you cant tell thats its dramatically fake, go for it!
also, its dumb when people wear their colored contacts "sometimes". then everyone knows theyre fake
My doughter asked for a colored contact lens. I thinks it is fine as long as it enhances your complexion. If you are African American please dont wear blue contacts. It gets out of place. Make sure you match it to your complexion and go for it.
Lol it’s not that they make somebody fake… they just LOOK really obviously fake. They don’t fool me into believing somebody has different colored eyes, they make me say "Oh, that person is wearing colored contacts." They’re just obvious.
Well everyone’s going to have a different oppinion, you just got to stay with your dissetion and dont change your oppinion becaue everyone elese is. My self i think they do make people fake because its not your natural eye color and its just "fake." But if you like it then you should get it.
Ibelieve contacts are to express yourself and as well fun! Don’t let other people judge you on saying it make a person "fake". Your not acting like anyone but yourself. You putting on a pair of strange colored contacts just makes you, you. As well as you just being fun, expressive and possibly silly.

Wow. Okay first of all, a ‘fake’ is someone who acts one way towards your face then acts a completely different way once your back is turned. You know what else makes you ‘fake’? Hair dye, tanning, manicures, pedicures, make up. So yeah, if your friends think contacts are ‘fake’ and have done any of the things mentioned above, yeah they’re fake too.
Second, I love colored contacts. :] I love my brown eyes but it’s just fun to wear them you know? I think that you should say, screw what my friends think. I like them so I’m wearing them. Be your own person. There’s people who won’t like it but you don’t need other peoples acceptance to be yourself. And if your friends give you crap then tell them you let them wear what they want or do their hair how they want and you don’t bash on them for what they do.
Also, the person who posted the Marlin Manson picture? That’s totally irrelevant. Wearing colored contacts won’t make you a ‘freak’ like him.
