When You Wear Colored Contacts, Does It Make Your Vision Blurry?

I’ve been wearing contacts for a few weeks now (prescription), and just recently decided to get some colored contacts. Well today is my first day wearing them, and my vision seems really blurry, I’ve cleaned them again, and tried to move them around, put drops, but nothing takes the blurriness away. Is this normal with color or should I call my doctor?
I was thinking that’s it’s the color blocking my iris so it’s making it seem blurry? IDK?

colored contacts FREQUENTLY cause blurry vision vs their clear counterparts. SUPER common. in fact its far & away the biggest complaint about colored contacts.

yes its b/c of pupil & aperture centration. its normal. you can call your doctor but there’s usually no fix except for go back to clear.

The colored lenses shouldn’t affect your vision at all.

Make sure they’re in right (not backwards…sounds weird, but they can be backwards) and double check you put the right in your right eye and left in the left. If that doesn’t change it, take them back and tell them what’s going on.

The place of the lens above the iris is blank but perhaps the lens drops a little bit making you seeing things a bit blurry. Dunno, soz :)
