Why Am I Getting Red/ Itchy Eyes Wearing Contact Lenses for 14 Hours ?

I have been wearing contact lenses for 5 years. Now all of a sudden I am getting red/ itchy eyes.
I wear the monthly disposable ones. I generally wear them for 12-14 hours a day. I never faced a problem before.
Any Suggestions?

You should go to a doctor. Your eyes may have developed allergy/infection due to lenses now, or to the chemical in which they are washed. Stop wearing them as of now.
You may have develop an allergy (lens material or contact lens solution), or your current lenses are not the usual one you wore.I think your current lenses may be tightly fitted. Go back and see your optometrist or your eye doctor.
