Why Wont My Eye Doctor Start Me Off with Colored Contacts?

the doctor said he was going to start with me off clear contacts, but i want colored contacts. why cant i get colored contacts right away?

    probably to see if your eyes can handle regular ones first. Colored ones have different stuff and can mess up or irritate your eyes, so if you have that same problem with regular ones, he probably wouldnt give you them at all. Plus to get your eyes used to wearing contacts in the first place.

    Because you are not a doctor sweetheart maybe he thinks that the pigmentation on the lense will afect your eye sight and wants to make sure you can see with those lenses first to move you on . Just trust him im sure he know what he is doing after all he did study about 4-8 years on that subject
