    Read your coverage provisions. Most vision insurance will only pay a set allowance toward contacts – colored or not.

    Read the schedule of benefits of your vision policy. Every policy limits the number of times you can purchase contacts in a given policy period and limits the amount that will be paid for contacts.

    Vision policies do not have "standard" coverage. Each company is unique in what coverage they offer and most often offer different levels of coverage. In other words we can only give you a "rule of thumb answer" you must call the company.
